The new IBM 8X/4X/32X CD-Rewritable (CD-RW) Internal IDE White Option Kit delivers a triple-function drive with the latest CD-Recordable (CD-R) and CD-RW capabilities. This new drive offers industry-leading performance by: writing to CD-R media at speeds up to 8X; writing and rewriting CD-RW media up to 1, 000 times at 4X speed; reading at speeds of 32X to 8X, depending on the CD media being read.
