Pros: None really for me
Cons: For the price the ability to edit videos is very very basic and the quality of my HD video output was very bad.
Summary: My usual video editing program is Cyberlink PowerDirector and for $99 it at least allows me to have virtually complete control over the editing of my videos.

Pros: there is a struggle to think of something to write here. i guess it was easy to load.
Cons: Cheesy templates, limited options, hard to customize, bugs - i can't scroll down on my music to choose an album that's beyond view,arrow down doesn't work. strangely written instructions, no undo button, title options are hard to customize. i hate it
Summary: i wanted to treat myself to a video editing software to go with my new webcam. i thought it would be nice to create some simple language videos for my son, and create videos for the grandparents...well this software is the worst program i've ever used. I'm so sad i threw away $50 on this junk! please don't waste your time/money. I've learned my lesson - check reviews first.

Pros: I can acctualy load it.
Cons: Worst customer service (worse then HP), Customer service only open 9 am to 5 pm on Mon.-Fri., I cannot even put titles in the video, extremly slow, hard to edit, does not fit the promses, and it is not worth the price.
Summary: Do not buy this product! Dont fall a victum! Save yourself! Worst product ever made by the worst company supported by the worst customer service. I hate it!

Pros: Allows casual users looking for an integrated photo and video suit to perform the most common editing tasks with a minimum of complication. Simple and elegant interface. Organizes media beautifully. Very good value.
Cons: Works much better on XP than Vista - but then what doesn't.
Summary: I'm a serious photography hobbyist, so it doesn't replace my photo editing software, but I use it for quick photo projects and family video productions. It will be a perfect fun tool for my children, and I'm considering buying it for my parents for Christmas - it will do what they want and it won't require hours of training and support from me.

Pros: Cheap, many of the edit features are good for the price,
Cons: Does not work as advertised unless the system you have is EXACTLY the system they designed it for.
Summary: I purchased Corel video studio specifically because it claims it allows you to edit AVCHD video and burn blu-ray discs and the software simply DOES NOT WORK! My attempts to get assistance from their customer service was a disappointing waste of my time, often waiting several days for a representative to reply to updates on my question ticket only to get the same suggestions that don't work over and over again. This company will claim anything in order to get your money and does not stand behind their product AT ALL. If you want to waste your money, buy it, then go look for something better if it doesn't work.
