The bad: InterVideo DVD Copy 4 Platinum is relatively expensive and won't let you save some projects or create a new folder when choosing where to save.
The bottom line: InterVideo DVD Copy 4 Platinum lets you easily copy and reencode unprotected DVDs, but for just a little more money, you can get a full burning suite that does a lot more.

Has Some Bugs and Compatability Issuesby joeinsf - September 22, 2006
Pros: Converts To Many Video Formats

Review: I wanted to use this program to extract clips from (unencrypted) DVDs and convert them to DIVX format (which the software does OK). On my system the preview panel will not work for input DVDs or any video input video file except windows WMV, which makes it useless for me. Occasionally gives "Media not ready" messages for input DVDs (readable by all other software). It may have compatability problems with Nero, or Window XP MCE, but InterVideo keeps insisting my registered, bundled software, is not registered and not entitled to any kind of technical support, so I can't really say what the problem is...
