"Very Poor documentation for Ultimate 11.1 version"

Pros: Great "Advertised" features

Cons: Advertised features lack documentation
Summary: StageTools? MovingPicture feature has no usable documentation. Advertised features lack documentation purchased Ultimate version, received Plus documentation, Web site has no documentation for Moving picture feature, which is the main reason I purchased Ultimate over Plus. Software crashes daily while switching between features on an AMD (Athlon 64 X2 4600+ with 2gig memory/ 750gig hard drive space 3 250g SATA II drives / Nvidia GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 video board) system. Not a good buy at this time, maybe tomorrow.

I purchased Pinnacle's video authoring package earlier in the year to prepare for a two week Mayan ruins vacation and cruise. I had plan to practice using the software before the trip but that never had time to do more than some minor video import and viewing. Now that the trip is over and I start to assemble to pictures and video clips the program is non- functional, crashes every time I try to import photos. The on-line chat is useless, the live phone support is a joke, and the company has been sending me on one goose chase after another. It appears that "Studio V11 ultimate" has issues with either Vista 64-bit or my large digital picture collection (5,000 pictures consuming 17gig). Current system is an AMD Phenom 9500 with 6gig RAM and four hard drives approaching 1TB with all updated drives and software.
