"Does the job well"
Pros: Very loud speaker, works with your phone's voice dialing, long battery life, easy on and off, callers can hear you loud and cleat even at 80MPH
Cons: None- it does what it's supposed to do
Summary: I disagree strongly with the editors rating. First of all, this is a wireless speakerphone. You don't have to attach it to your ear for it to work. It sits on the sun visor above your head. Because of the positioning, and the great volume of the speaker, you can hear callers loud and clear and they can hear you the same, even in heavy road noise. It's convenient too. I say that because the battery life is superb. This is enhanced because you don't have to do a lot to turn it on/off- just toggle the microphone by closing the lever (off) or opening it (on). I got tired of having to reach for the other Bluetooth headsets I'd tried every time the phone rang. First you have to look for them which means you take your eye off the road, and second if you wear them all the time it messes up whatever you're trying to listen to on the radio since one of your ears is clogged with the headset. With the Supertooth this is not an issue. I gave it a 10 because it works so well, and because I've also tried the Parrot Driveblue. The Parrot looks like a good thing, but because you have to plug it into your power outlet it is most likely (like mine) going to be toward the bottom of the passenger cabin. This means you get a lot of road noise. The Parrot was no good unless you were sitting still or driving below 35MPH. Again, with the Supertooth this is not a problem since it is above your head and the microphone/toggle switch is pointed at your mouth. It's a dream come true.
