"Perfect, forget those ear pieces" on by gusvlad

Pros: Works flawlessly. Easy setup. Recognizes your phone quickly.

Cons: None no problems works great

Summary: Purchsed the BlueAnt Supertooth light for $59 from j&R.com. Things couldn't be easier. Setup took about 2 minutes and the device works great. I wasn't about to drive around looking like Captain Kirk with an ear piece attached to my head. Did you ever see those people walk into a store still wearing them? It recognizes my phone the second I get into the car and if you have voice dialing capability on your phone it will now work through your Supertooth. A much needed, much used item. Fantastic. Standby claims to be one month, but I suppose that depends upon how much you use it in the car and how amny calls you make (talk time about 8 hours). Recharging is quick with both a cigarette adaptor and an AC adaptor. This certainly falls under the the "why didn't I think of that catagory"

    Definately not a 6 , I meant to score this a "10".

"Easy to setup and use, great value" on by rgs1218

Pros: Clear sound,, good volume, easy setup, clever power on/off feature, great battery life, callers says sounds great on their end

Cons: No LCD on unit, otherwise none

Summary: Picked this up from Amazon and after about a month of use, absolutely love it. Set up with my AT&T Tilt took a minute. Simple design--make/take call, end call, volume rocker and on/off button--that's it. The design for turning the unit on/off is great. Press the button to extend the boom mike--unit is now on. Push it back in, unit is now off.

Loudspeaker volume range is very good, sound is clear. Most callers I speak to don't even realize I'm on a bluetooth speaker. Unit attaches via 2 strong magnets in the unit to metal clip on your sun visor--will not budge unless you give the unit a twist to move the magnets out of alignments from a grove on the clip. This design is nice because no permanent clip makes the unit size efficient and easily pocketed or stowed in a bag.

My only wish for this item would be an LCD display on the unit itseft to display caller ID so you do not have to look at your phone--thus the 9/10 score. Not a big deal for me as I have my Tilt in a windshield mounted cradle within my driving line of sight.

Battery life is awesome. I am not a heavy user as I'm only usually in my car for my daily commute or occasional errands but I still haven't had to recharge the battery.

    Cannot recommend this device enough.

    "Superb unit" on by RogerWilkins

Pros: Incredibly easy to use. Works seamlessly with phone. Sounds great. I did not expect such a well-conceived and implemented product. It makes expensive hard-wired in-car systems look ridiculous.

Cons: power cord to cigarette lighter is short

Summary: This is an excellent device that does what it is supposed to without fuss. I really don't know what was holding the cnet reviewer back. Squishy buttons? What does that mean? They work fine.

"Awesome sound, one minor flaw." on by kevinb77

Pros: Sound quality, ease of use, Nice button feel.

Cons: Slide out microphone sometimes does not want to go back in

Summary: I love this device. It was so easy to use and pair with all of my bluetooth stuff in the car. The only minr flaw is the slide out microphone which doubles as the power on/off button on the device. It does not always want to go back into its slot and can drain the battery rather quickly if not placed back. Other then that this is a great unit. BlueAnt does it once again.

"I Love It Except For One Thing" on by lashanne

Pros: Loud and Clear, Very Easy to Use

    Cons: Loud Buzzing Sound

Summary: I bought my Supertooth through Amazon and received it in only 3 days! It was practically charged when I got it. It paired fairly easily. Initially, I was
getting "unknown audio device" when I tried to pair it to my Treo 755p, but after I did a soft reset to my phone, it worked. I tested it out in my neighborhood and on I-95 w/the windows down and the music at a normal level. It was awesome!

The one problem I had (and it could be a deal breaker) is that when I was on the speakerphone for more than 5 min, a LOUD buzzing sound emitted through the thing. The first time it happened I was just sitting in my car. The second time I was driving! It scared the mess outa me. I had to hang up my call for it to stop. I called the customer support and emailed them with this issue and am awaiting a response. I really like it so I hope this problem gets resolved. Will keep you all posted.
