Pros unlimited downloads, basically free because you have to have the $55 plan if you have an android anyway
Cons if an album is various artists (i.e. a soundtrack) most of the time it just says "various artists" instead of who actually does the song
Summary I can't find all the music I want, but my musical taste is rather eclectic. I was surprised to find some rather obscure bands (i.e. The Monochrome Set) but disappointed some bigger names aren't available (The Pixies). Overall, though, I'm pretty satisfied. I can download and delete from the phone, no computer required. I have one of the newer smart phones (ZTE Score), so I don't have the phone issues the other reviewer complained about.

Pros Quick and easy to use. has a decent collection of all kinds of music.
Cons It doesn't allow you to turn sideways to type for searching, some songs are missing from albums.
Summary I wouldn't go out of my way to upgrade to the plan that has this feature, but if you happen to get this plan just because it's got the other features and services you need, it's a nice convenience. Some songs are missing from full albums, and some albums are just missing altogether. And just because Shazaam can recognize the song, doesn't mean it will always find it.

Pros Millions of songs to choose from with up to 6,000 stored on my phone. Sound is great and UI is much better than it used to be. With Bluetooth speakers and an AUX port there is no need to move them from my phone.
Cons When downloading full artist portfolios you can get some duplicate songs and there is not a shuffle option within an album or artist
Summary Truely innovative service tied right into the rate plan makes this a definite plus with my phone service that no other carrier can match.
Pros Easy to download music, Shazam comes in handy at times, wide selection of music.
Cons Well it doesn't have every song you're looking for. Shazam will not recognize a song at times. Even if it's playing perfectly clear.
Summary Overall muve music is great. However there are minor problems that I would like fixed. First off get more music. Second in the help menu I saw that if Shazam recognizes a song that they don't have in the catalog, you can request it. After seeing this I thought maybe I missed it when it didn't have the song. That is a lie the request button is not there. So if Cricket can actually add the request button than I'd be happy.
Pros easy to access, easy to download, you can search for lots of artists and albums, can make ringtones out of the part of the song you want to make them from - not just the beginning.
Cons downloading albums takes a long time, most songs are not made for ringtones, and its even harder to find songs for ringbacks. You can't search for just ringtones or ringbacks either. Boo.
Summary I researched Muve Music before I purchased my Samsung Vitality from Cricket. Seemed like everyone thought it was pretty good so I got the plan and I am disappointed. Yes, you can find tons of songs - and you can use your phone as a Itunes on the go kind of thing...but I really wanted to use songs for ringtones and ringbacks and WOW - is it hard to find those! Especially ringbacks. Unless you like their "top 10" ringbacks you are pretty much not going to have a ringback. some albums don't allow you to use a song for ringbacks/ringtones - others have only one song in them, or a couple that you can do this - so you have to HUNT them down. It's not user friendly as far as this goes. But it is nice to be able to at least play songs from my phone.
