I have used hands-free speaker phones in my car before. I haven't been happy with the sound quality, especially at the other end. Furthermore, everybody in the car gets to listen. I now have a blue tooth phone, and tried a few different headsets. They all worked fine, but I don't want to have to wear them all the time while driving. Also, they lose charge quickly. This device solves the problem perfectly. It sits charging all the time in the holder. When a call comes in, I simply put it in my ear quite easily with one hand. There is no hook to go over the ear. It fits in the canal in a comfortable way. The sound quality is great, and it pairs perfectly every time. So for a hands-free solution, this is hard to beat. I only have a few minor complaints. The LED light on the headset is a bit bright, and it flashes all the time. I plan to put a small piece of black electrical tape on it so that it doesn't disturb me while driving at night. There is no small light in the receptacle, so that when completing a call at night I have to feel a bit where to return the headset. It is really a minor issue. Finally, the angle of the charger is fixed. That works fine in my car, but might not work well in some cars. They could use a hinge of some kind there. All in all, this product is the only one I've seen that solves this problem so well. I highly recommend it.

This thing is amazing. First & foremost, great sound quality, volume & reception/transmission. And no cord!

It sits in my car 24/7. It’s concept is the same as built-in Bluetooth ability built into newer luxury cars. The problem with those is that the sound is transmitted over your car stereo speakers. So if you have anyone else in the car, they have to listen to your whole conversation. So to go private, you have dig for your phone & use the handset. A tricky manuever on a mountain road or in heavy traffic.

Plus, I'm never again stuck sitting in the garage waiting to finish a call because if I turn off the engine, it'll kill the car's built in bluetooth. This way, I can step out, fill up with gas, run into the store or house & keep talking and return the headset later.

If I’m not wearing another headset when I get in the car, it automatically pairs/recognizes my phone when I get in. It beeps & flashes when a call is incoming & auto answers as soon as I pull it out of the cradle. And it takes a mere second to place it in the ear & start talking. To hang up, just place it back in the cradle. No buttons to push.

It’s perfect for long trips when you don’t want to wear a headset for 8 hrs just in case you might get a call. Or if you’re just running out for a quick errand and don’t want to always remember to put on a headset when leaving the house. With this you NEVER have reason to drive while holding a cell phone.

Only con, is it’s size. It’s roughly a 3 inch boom, sticks out a little and looks too geeky to wear walking around all day. But then it’s not designed for that.

Though you can definitely use this as your only headset, for all day wear, the Samsung wep200 is much better.

For me, it's an add-on for my car, one I only use occasionally but one I wouldn't want to be without. If I had to give up any of my headsets, this would be the last as I think having one always in the car is the most critical.
