"Excellent Quality"
Pros: Charges phone, only cable you can buy for micro USB AFAIK
Cons: Only cable you can buy for Micro USB AFAIK, wont transfer data
Summary: This cable has the best quality of any USB cable I've ever owned. I bought it to transfer data from my cell to my PC. All it does is charge my phones battery. Checking on Rocketfish's web site, the cable is described as a charging cable. My phone isn't even showing up in Device Manager. When I plug it into my USB port while connected to phone the hard drive light doesn't even blink. THIS IS NOT A DATA CABLE! The cable only charges.
Besides Cnet's title being wrong, this USB cable is excellent quality and I recommend getting it to charge your phone. I'm using this on a brand new phone, it could be broke resulting in no data transfer. But I'd go with what Rocketfish says and not Cnet on it's description of this USB cable.
