Pros: Great for movie goers. Can see movie times, trailers and buy tickets. Calendar, contacts and phone directory at your fingertips. Can see your VM online while you are away.

Cons: You can only text to other Verizon customers. This is not apparent in any of the information I have seen. I felt a little misled in this area.

Summary: My hunch is this will take off, but since this device is limited in the areas I mentioned above they will probably come out with upgrades or upgraded model in the near future. They do say that it is upgradable by downloads (like a palm pilot), but this does not explain if it will add more applications in the device by downloading them as they become available or if you will have to purchase a whole other handset like you would a cell phone every year. If you are really unsure then wait a few months to see how it does. This phone does beat out any Vonage device I have ever had. Very similar in connectivity and clarity while in use. I stopped using my cell phone at home because it was always a pain to get it out of my purse or I would leave it at home once my cell phone came out. Even with the few things I mentioned I am happy with the device and believe it is living up to what it says it is.
