"Get the Cyfre CA-819 amp instead."
Pros: Popular amp, price varies greatly.
Cons: Cell towers must interact to regulate unit power output.
Summary: The Cyfre CA-819 amp gives better performance (based on independant tests) than the Wilson. It also comes with more accessories than the Wilson for about $100 less. Also, information on EVDOForums.com is greatly misleading, and their prices are much higher than other retailers.
Go with the Cyfre.

The Cyfre is far superior to the Wilson and cyfre also has different induction adapters you can use with phones that have no RF port for a direct connection

The Cyfre CA-819 needs to be directly connected to the external antenna port of the cell phone. If your phone doesn't have an external antenna port or there is no adapter cable available for your phone you can't use it.
With the Wilson Signal Boost amp you don't need an adapter cable because it connects by means of a velcro attached flat panel antenna that is included with the amplifier, which means that the Wilson amp works with ANY PHONE except Nextels.
