This is a wonderful transmitter. I'd been using the AirPlay2 for quite some time and loved it, but recently upgraded to the AirPlay Boost for better reception. It has delivered!
Traditional car jack transmitters don't work for me because of the location of my cigarette lighter. AirPlay takes care of this issue and also doesn't drain the battery too badly.
Switching presets isn't quite as easy as on the AP2, but they are easier to program on this new model.
Some people don't like the antenna as it doesn't work well with many iPod cases; however, I use a Miyavix Kimono case, so it's not an issue.
It seems to fit the iPod better and is more secure in the port.
Overall, I highly recommend this transmitter.
