    "Very stable since the merger..."

by CaptainMooseInc on February 21, 2007

Pros: Good reception, great phone selection, lots of minutes

Cons: High cost of additional features such as SMS, Internet, etc

Summary: I originally was with AT&T Wireless. After the merger there were plenty of bumps and headaches and fighting with Cingular about my bill. After a year with them now it seems to have finally smoothed itself out. Now I get great reception almost anywhere I go. My phone is awesome and will let me put almost anything on it through a cable connection to my computer (Verizon likes to lock out their phones to limit how much you can and can't put on it).

The only thing I really hate about Cingular is that they have very bad data and text plans for way too much money. They are overly greedy on how much they like to earn on all their different "extras" they offer.

All-in-all I like Cingular for they call quality, but the data plans have to change or I'll change carriers.
