"This is a great deal, I highly recommend this phone!" on by birdseed41
Pros: lots of memory for pics, self portrait mode, easy to use buttons
Cons: hard to read outer display, design not too pretty, low battery life
Summary: I purchased this phone from verizon about a month ago and I love it! For 50 bucks(the current promotion) it's a great camera phone perfect for teens and anyone who wants an easy to use, fully loaded phone. One thing that really surprised me was the memory it has. I haven't downloaded any games or ringtones, which might make a difference, but at the low resolution(fine for most pics) the phone can hold 100 images. It's kind of a pain to upload them to the verizon picture website(www.vzwpix.com) though, it takes about 20-30 seconds per pic. From there you can edit your pics, save them to your computer and send them to other people's phones. Another nice thing about this phone is the self-portrait mode. Just hole down the camera button on the left side of the phone and you get a fairly large image of whatever the lense is pointed at while the phone is closed on the front display. The phone's layout is well organized, and the buttons light up and are easy to use, making few misdialed calls. You can use your pics as backrounds for the phone main screen and also as caller id so that when you recieve a call the assigned pic shows up on the main screen. Some things I didnt like about this phone were the outer display which shows caller-id, the time, battery life and the signal bar, does not light up unless the phone is open making it hard to read unless in bright lighting. Also, the design of the phoine itself I don't find particularly attractive with a blue faceplace and a rather thick structure, but that's just me. The battery life on this phone isn't that great, you can usually go 2 days without charging if, like me, you use the phone for things besides the occasional phone call. But on the whole this phone is very good, and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a good camera phone. Hey, it's definitely a step up from my Nokia!

"Good phone for the money -- Only con too quiet" on by TRISH12
Pros: Small, lightweight, easy to use, great features for the money.
Cons: Way too quiet, can barely hear the other person, ringer is too quiet, also.
Summary: I would probably not purchase another phone by them simply due to the volume. If they would improve this feature I would be back. I probably would go with a LG phone because the volume is much louder. You can hear the other person well and the ringer is much louder.

"Not perfect by a long shot." on by Clinton37
Pros: Good voice quality, well built
Cons: TERRIBLE RINGER VOLUME!! Too many lost calls.. Outer Display alternates between "VERIZON WIRELESS" and current time/date
Summary: I've been with Verizon Wireless for years and have been through several phones. I've also been using other phones through my work carrier...Alltel. This phone (Audiovox 8910)is average at best. Any ringer tone, even at its loudest setting, is tough to hear if you have the car radio on. If you are in a crowd or at the mall...FORGET IT. You would have to set it to vibrate. Audiovox missed the boat in this department. Worst in its league in ringer volume. Another sorry flaw this phone has is the outer display. If you need to know the time or date, you may have to stare at it for about 5 seconds or more while the display is advertising.... "VERIZON WIRELESS" as if we need to be reminded of the cell carrier. Five seconds may not seem like a long time but you'll get sick of this QUICK! I don't know if Audiovox or Verizon is to blame for that but what a joke. (I couldn't spell NUSIANCE).
I got my wife the NOKIA 6015i since it was free (with a store credit I had) I have used it and noticed much improved reception and fewer dropped calls compared to the Audiovox though the NOKIA is not a camera phone and has fewer high end features. For general phone usage though, the NOKIA beats this AUDIOVOX hands down. If you are close to a Verizon tower and want to place a call, the Audiovox is pretty good and easy to use. The camera is simple to use and takes decent pictures....for a camera phone.. so if you're in it for the camera (I'm not), maybe it's not so bad. If I had to do it all over again in this price range, I would probably try the Samsung ACH-670. The Motorola 265 felt too cheap in the store. Hope this helps with your decision. -
"For the price, not bad" on by abyss1313
Pros: Clear display, solid feel, good phone
Cons: warm battery after extended use, ringtone not loud enuf
Summary: For the price, it's a good phone. Clear display, good menus-have to get used to it, reception is good not great, can't really use touch to dial phone, camera has good flash feature, picture quality is standard for a camera phone. The one thing that is very wrong is the battery warms up quite a bit after talking on the phone for a while. I don't notice other phones doing that. Even when charging the phone, the battery is warm to the touch. Hopefully, Audiovox can fix it. Overall, this Audiovox is decent buy for a camera phone that doesn't costs a lot of money.

"The phone is a" on
Pros: It has most of the "cool" features available today in it's price range
Cons: Oddest thing is that it has a ringer, but very low volume. It has a camera, but lets you do very little with the damn pics. It has speaker phone that works great in a library...volume is too low otherwise. Voice dial unless your friends have names th
