"Not perfect by a long shot."
Pros: Good voice quality, well built
Cons: TERRIBLE RINGER VOLUME!! Too many lost calls.. Outer Display alternates between "VERIZON WIRELESS" and current time/date
Summary: I've been with Verizon Wireless for years and have been through several phones. I've also been using other phones through my work carrier...Alltel. This phone (Audiovox 8910)is average at best. Any ringer tone, even at its loudest setting, is tough to hear if you have the car radio on. If you are in a crowd or at the mall...FORGET IT. You would have to set it to vibrate. Audiovox missed the boat in this department. Worst in its league in ringer volume. Another sorry flaw this phone has is the outer display. If you need to know the time or date, you may have to stare at it for about 5 seconds or more while the display is advertising.... "VERIZON WIRELESS" as if we need to be reminded of the cell carrier. Five seconds may not seem like a long time but you'll get sick of this QUICK! I don't know if Audiovox or Verizon is to blame for that but what a joke. (I couldn't spell NUSIANCE).
I got my wife the NOKIA 6015i since it was free (with a store credit I had) I have used it and noticed much improved reception and fewer dropped calls compared to the Audiovox though the NOKIA is not a camera phone and has fewer high end features. For general phone usage though, the NOKIA beats this AUDIOVOX hands down. If you are close to a Verizon tower and want to place a call, the Audiovox is pretty good and easy to use. The camera is simple to use and takes decent pictures....for a camera phone.. so if you're in it for the camera (I'm not), maybe it's not so bad. If I had to do it all over again in this price range, I would probably try the Samsung ACH-670. The Motorola 265 felt too cheap in the store. Hope this helps with your decision.

I guess you really get what you pay for. This phone is a mere $20, but it's by far the worst phone I've ever had. Reception is constantly bad (it does this wierd clicking thing where you can only hear every other word) and it drops calls on a regular basis. I've had other phones with Alltel that were better, so i don't think it's the service. As the other users have said, the ringer volume is too low on the standard ring tones, you have to download ringers to get a ring you can actully hear. The outside display is also very faint, there's no use having a clock there at all. Camera pics are not very clear either.

If you want the outside screen to only show the time (not the Verizon Wireless banner), hit Menu, 7, 6, 4, then select off to turn off the ERI banner. This also makes it so that your greeting (menu, 7, 2, 4) will show up instead of 'Verizon Wireless' on the inside screen.
