"Awesome phone - little drawbacks"
Pros: Nice camera, internet access, advanced banner settings, color screen, nice LCD, decent service
Cons: More features could be added to the camera function, internet webpages could display a little better. Price of games and wallpapers are expensive, virgin mobile users run out of minutes fast
Summary: I just got this phone yesterday and it's way better than the one I had before. (Virgin Mobile Kyocera K9 Rave...lol)
This phone opens with a flip and comes in silver or blue. It has a camera and a color screen, and is a very nice phone. You can surf the web, upload pictures, mass text message, picture messaging, VirginXL, world clock and many more great features.
Although the features listed above are great, they lack advanced functions. Example, the camera is great, but the zooming functions could be better. When you surf the web, it sometimes shows webpages with 4 characters to a line, which can result in having to scroll alot. The arrow button things are very small, so it's easy to hit the wrong buttons and completely mess up what you're doing. The preloaded game 'snood' was hard to understand my first time.
All in all, I'd rate this phone an 8 or a 9 on a 10 point scale. It's a great starter flip phone, and isn't too hard to learn to use. It's definately for the younger crowd, and not for anyone wanting to plan their year out on their cell or anything like that. The sound quality is great, the service is decent, the camera is pretty neat. I'd suggest it to any teenager or young adult. Get it with Virgin Mobile- cheap plans, no contracts or hidden fees. You can pay with 3 plans - minute by minute, day by day, or monthly. I like the options to customize this phone any way you want (to an extent). It only comes with 3 preloaded wallpapers, but you'll get over that.
