"Product was helpful when we had dial-up" on by Netpet856
Pros: caller ID, voicemail
Cons: After the expensive renewal we needed to cancel the service two months into the 12 month renewal and discovered there are NO REFUNDS FOR THE 10 MONTHS NOT NEEDED.
Summary: In short....READ THE FINE PRINT OF THE AGREEMENT!

"Good phone" on by magstudios123
Pros: The text message transcription of voice mail is an awesome feature of the phone. It lets the user decide the importance of each mail once he/she receives it.
Cons: The separate voice mail box is a turn off. It creates unnecessary confusion Not catching names on time can be frustrating too.
Summary: A decent phone that has made use of the voice mail feature quite effectively.

"Callwave Account Support and customer service" on by waseemchamma
Pros: They Do respond
Cons: They Don't help or provide assistance, furthermore they suspend your account
Summary: I used other services with callwave, and I'm completely dissapointed, they cancle and suspend your account without notification, and when you complain there's no body to talk to or complain who can understand you.
The disconnection and suspension of my account was excused to be a new policy of international users without notification to the user, or warning, and when I asked them why didn't you tell me so I can backup my data they said sorry we missed that! what a crab service!
more importantly they delete all of your records and deny to hand it back to you (as history of transactions).
very disappointed and would warn everyone who's trying to use them.

"Wonderful Visual Voicemail, but horrible Vtxt" on by tuttavia
Pros: Listen to Voicemail in random order, Cool widget for your desktop
Cons: Mandatory, buggy and inaccurate Vtxt feature
Summary: I Originally signed up for Callwave's Visual Voicemail before the introduction of Vtxt. It was a wonderful solution to Voicemail. Not only can you listen to messages out of order, but there is a Visual Voicemail widget for your computer allowing you to listen to the messages. You can even do this and more from the Callwave website.
Then Callwave introduced Vtxt beta. This was the worst thing they could have done. It's a good idea, but a very bad service. Most of the messages that I would receive were so messed up that I couldn't make sense of them. Witht the service comes an announcement attached to your outgoing message that tells callers to speak clearly so their words could be translated to text. Most of the people who called me either ignored the message, or they were annoyed by the request.
It wouldn't be so bad if Callwave made the Vtxt feature an option. But both the announcement and receiving the Vtxt are inseparable from the Voicemail service. Very soon after the introduction of the service I disabled it, hoping that they would eventually make Vtxt an optional feature, but as of yet it is not. I have sent them feedback, but it seems doubtful that they will change this now.
