"Too Basic for txting" on by simpscanine
Pros: It is a nice sturdy phone to handle and the numbers are a good size.
Cons: When txting having to scroll through your whole phone book to get the person you want to txt. Also only stores cell phone numbers for each person no ability to store 2 numbers or an address for a person. Very frustrating.
Summary: Although the phone is sturdy and good to handle it does not have the basic functions of other cell phones and Telstraclear are selling this phone for $245. I think it is far too basic to command this price so I am stuck with this phone.

"easy use, easy read, easy setup. Excellent for seniors" on by gcyama
Pros: high viz keyboard and screen. easy view of screen, with good definition. Keyboard easy to use. Selection of menu easy and logical. Data input very simple. Has bluetooth which sets up easily.
Cons: charge inlet plug is on side, rather than top or bottom. Charge input into car dc plug lights up too brightly, altho in blue. Charger input plug is on wrong side (left, rather than right, for ease of use when plugged.
Summary: Much simpler to see and use, compared to other small keyboard and tiny letters/digits (e.g., Motorola) and still has all the basic needs (FM, bluetooth, backlit keyboard). Very simple setup. Fits comfortably in hand when using.

"Very Basic solid phone ... But..." on by DCM767
Pros: Large, bright display.
Easy to use and simple.
Well made.Cons: Issues with phone charger jack not.
Poor reception vs Verizon and Sprint
Does NOT have caller I.D.
Have to open phone to use or get info.Summary: I have had the Doro 410 since Jan of '10. As said, it's beauty is in it's simplicity, but also it'd drawback. Has NO caller I.D. unless the # is in your phonebook! Can't tell time or other info (battery life) unless you open case.
Also has just average voice tone and clarity.
** It has NO download capability - so you can't download ringtones. VERY BASIC PHONE. But for older folks .. who just talk on the phone, this a good choice.
