"Great Product!"
Pros: Thin, Good Call Quality, Good Camera
Cons: External Display Size
Summary: Just some history...I have had 2 year contracts with Vodaphone (UK), Sprint and Cingular/AT&T, as well as having my work PDA with Verizon. Given a good working and user knowledge of the cell phone industry, I have to admit, I was skeptical of going on board with a smaller, non-traditional carrier like Helio. But try I did and am I ever happy!
I don't really want to spend more than say, $100-$150 every two years on a phone, but if you want good technology and a snappy design, as I do, than what's available, signing a two-year contract on the traditional carriers, can be a little slim. It's as if the big carriers forgot that a two year contract isn't a small commitment...
But with Helio, for signing a two-year contract and setting up an auto-pay with my Visa card, I only paid about $100 for this phone! That's on top of the 1GB mini-SD card that came with this deal
Long of a short, if you can get past the small external display and you have figured out how to take photos with friends without using the mini-mirror and/or the external display (the one on the outside of the phone) as a viewfinder, than this is a great phone. Yeah, there's no side camera button, not a big deal, in my humble opinion. The built-in HTML browser (on a phone this size!) and included GPS with Google Maps more than makes up for the camera features shortcomings (can you say traffic maps!). Plus, what phone this size has a 3 megapixel camera? None, closest on the market might have 2 megapixels and won't take photos 1/2 as well as this phone does!
Long of a short, I like thin, advanced phones and I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for one...so this was the solution after a lot of research (I moved from AT&T to Helio). I wouldn't buy another Motorola RAZR after my last experience with that phone and Samsungs really are the best phones on the market. Helio seems very interested in marketing a good phone to a discerning consumer...
So yes, I am very happy! I recommend this phone highly
