"It does everything (just very poorly)"
Pros: Pros: hang on a second, I've almost got one.... Oh yeah! It looks cool!
Cons: battery life is not what they say it is. camera has a 3 sec. lag. phone developed a lag on screen and soft buttons after 2 months. texting is an utter pain in the rear.
Summary: I feel like Samsung "overdeveloped" the phone and tried to cram too many features in, compromising the functionality of every single one. The email sync is pretty great but other than that this phone has been a total disappointment. One real bummer is that the dictionary does not have a memory so it will not learn ANY new words that you type in. The predictive text also stinks b/c the phone was geared toward Korean kids instead of an English speaking market. IT DOESN'T EVEN RECOGNIZE THE WORD "TACO". That's how bad it is. There is no led light or anything that blinks to let you know that you've missed a call or a message. Unless you slide the phone open you'd never know. Even scrolling through your contact list is awkward and clunky. Lastly, b/c the call button is totally unmarked and in non-intuitive place, I have to explain how to make a freaking phone call to my friends if they need borrow my phone. LAME. Oh yeah, and be careful letting th ephone touch your cheek while you're talking, b/c it has a tendency to graze the mute button without you knowing.
Updated on May 22, 2009I just wantd to add that in a nutshell, all the basic things you need to be simple and function well in a phone are awkward, inconventient and buggy as a trade off to having access to your myspace pages and the net. Also, if you use google maps once it'll knock your battery down to 1 or 2 bars i about 5 minutes. Net use is super draining too.
