"Best mobile phone ever" on by alvagrp
Pros: Speed 1.2Gig, dual processor, 4G, Display, call quality, android 2.3, Excellent 8.0 mp camera with Led flash (instead of red eye you get white eye. HD video recording and play. others TNC (too numerious to count).
I was upgrade eligible with Verizon, I wCons: So Far none, except I am loosing sleep exploring all the features and android apps.
Summary: I spent several months researching smart phones. I had cut my choices to 4, They were all great phones, but each lacked one or two features I liked. Then the Sensation came out with everything I wanted and more.
For example I had marginal signal in my home, When I asked Verizon about they said I could buy a $200 wifi adapter to get great signal strength in my home. The sensation has wifi calling built in and I have configured it to automatically use my wifi (58 GH Fios) when my signal strength is low.
Everyones needs are different but for now and for me, this is the best phone available. -
"Great Phone. Best Android I've Ever Used." on by mikegor18
Pros: Nice Screen, Beautiful Design, Good Camera, HTC sense is absolutely gorgeous.
Cons: My on con so far is that the volume rocker is connected to the aluminum unibody shell not the phone itself, which makes it feel a little bit delicate, and it rattles around. Not a big deal but a little annoyance.
Summary: Overall the phone lives up to its name and is sensational. I love the lock screen, and all of the sense widgets. The sense UI was basically the reason I got the phone. It is the most polished UI for any android phone. Sense actually makes the phone easier to use and just looks better then stock android. (BTW I still do really like stock android). I'm a little bummed about the locked bootloader, but by the time Gingerbread is out of date hopefully HTC will have unlocked the bootloader with an update.
Also just a note, so far I haven't had any death grip problems with the Sensation.
I haven't had an abundant amount of time with the phone so I don't have a comment on battery life, but I can say so far it is holding up pretty good even with extended plants vs zombies action. Gaming is really good on this phone. I also don't think the speakers are that terrible, I mean nothing extraordinary, but not to bad.
So, in conclusion the HTC Sensation is an outstanding phone, and in my opinion the best smartphone available in the US at the time. Anyone who is looking for a smartphone on tmobile should definitely take a good long look at the Sensation.

"Buy this phone. It just makes Sense." on by M_RCH
Pros: -built with quality materials.
-Dual-core 1.2Ghz proc.
-Phone calls sound land-line good when full signal.
-4G Hotspot is insanely fast and a nice/easy feature.
- HTC Sense (Easy, quick access to apps from lock screen). I quickly missed it.Cons: - battery life not all that great when handset is frequently used.
- not quite the level of access to (all) the apps apple has.
- not as many consumer products are synced to android yet (car audio systems).Summary: I would have kept this phone for a long time if I didn't have to switch carriers for better coverage where I work. It is an amazing phone. The iPhone 4 is so different its a shame to say this, but I would take a HTC Sensation over iPhone any day (and I have been an apple man for five years or so now).
