"Just Awful."
1.0 starson by Peoria_ManPros: I can't think of any.
Cons: Everything! Tinny speaker, can't make out what the other person is saying, drops calls all the time, clumsy menu.
Summary: We had Nextel phones for years and they were wonderful! Then we got these awful Sprint phones and there is nothing good to say about them. Probably 2/3 of the time I can't get ahold of the person I'm calling, so I try and try again and waste so much time. Or, I'll get a call and if I don't respond immediately, I'll be unable to do so entirely! We all see the "Direct Connect User Unavailable" all the time; even calling each other from here within the building.
Another thing - if I miss a phone call, there's no easy way to scroll back and see who it was that called; scrolling down only reveals who called me using Direct Connect. Sure, there's a "History" thing in the menu but its very cumbersome to use and its of no use anyway if I wasn't there to actually hear the phone ring - which is not always the case.
Lately my phone has been randomly going into some sort of setup mode, where I'll be in the middle of a conversation and suddenly the display goes dark and none of the buttons work. A period of time passes - perhaps a minute - and then it comes back to life but it spends another minute re-initializing some sort of settings and so forth before it finally lets me try to resume the conversation. Maddening. This is no way to conduct business when I can't get ahold of my employees 2/3 of the time.
Oh, forget about battery life. Its awful. And when the battery indicator starts to go down, even slightly, like just one bar, its time to put it on the charger. The battery is like falling off a cliff; once it goes down a little, its a rapid fall all the way to the bottom. Our old Nextels weren't like this at all.
Please DO NOT buy this phone! Its junk!
