Pros: long battery life, strong signal

Cons: the direct connect speaker sounds like the person you are trying to speak with is underwater

Summary: We bought these to replace Nextel units, which worked great until they started taking down towers without notice. We use only direct connect and messaging and Sprint knew this when they recommended this unit. The speaker is very garbled and when we contacted tech support we were informed that they knew there were problems but nothing they can do, it is just how the unit works, or doesnt work. This is the unit offered with the best rating for what we need!? i would hate to hear the others. If you need direct connect service, this is not the unit for you. Works fine as long as you are near the person you are speaking with but why would you use it for that.
