Summary: I needed a very basic phone and this one foots the bill very nicely.
Most of the time I use if for talking.
Once in a while I use it for very short text messages (no QWERTY keyboard).
It has other options that I haven't used yet, like 1 digit calling, voice memos, Stopwatch, etc. (as best I can recall).
I might get around to them if I ever have a need to use them, but the vast majority of the time it's talking and the vast minority of the time it's texting.
It's not a flip phone which is one of the reasons I chose it.
Locking the keyboard is a snap. Press and hold the * key to lock the keyboard. Hit the Unlock Button followed by the * button to unlock the keyboard. Don't wait too long between hitting the unlock button and the * button because it's timed. You don't have to rush though. There's enough time to be a little leisurely about it. Just don't have a cup of coffee in between because it will decide that you weren't really serious about unlocking the keyboard and will refuse to honor your request.
It's solid construction. I've dropped it a couple of times with no damage to the phone.
It's slim. I can put it in my pocket and there's no bulge.
I could go on and on but that would be extreme overkill.
It's a nice phone for a very small amount of money.
Bottom Line is I recommend it to anybody who needs nothing more than a basic phone. It does that function very well.
