"What's It's Problem?"
Pros: It's a phone.
Cons: It's a crappy phone.
Summary: I had a RAZR and it started acting up on me so I decided to switch phones and curse Motorola for the rest of my life. I got the Kyocera Jet, and was happy with it the day I got it. Every day since I've been pissed off.
This phone sucks in so many ways. So I'm going to count them.
The phone freezes, which I'm sure you've read on many other reviews for the phone. That's not all.
It also has a keyguard that doesn't work. With keyguard on, the keys are locked. The first time I noticed a problem, I heard a noise in my pocket and come to realize it was my phone... on a call to New York for roughly 8 minutes. I live in Ohio. My phone company, Amp'd, wouldn't give me back those minutes.
Ever since then, the phone has done this. Every day, several times a day. I've called Florida on it, and some place over seas, without even knowing it. The phone does that in my pocket, while the keyguard is ON. When I notice a call being made, or my media player playing some music, I hit the red button to stop it, and the keyguard message pops up saying the keyguard is activated. Oh really? Because I didn't call France before I put the phone in my pocket.
This phone has cost me money via calling other countries without my permission, and Amp'd won't help me.
Also, the phone's camera sucks, massively. There's no complaining I could do that would do the phone's horribleness justice in any way, so I won't bother.
In addition to those things, the selection of ring tones on the phone blows. I get three options, one rock and two rap. Why can't I get a f'ing PHONE RINGING SOUND?!
Finally, when I want to make a call, I want to make a call. Earlier today I was trying to make a call and as I picked the name out of my phone book and hit the call button, the screen turned to the powering off screen. It then froze and returned me to the media player. Not the call screen. So I went back to the phone book, got the number again, and again hit the call button and this time the phone just turned off.
I'm sick of this, and I'm tied into an 18 month deal with Amp'd that I can't get out of, of which I still have about 12 months or more to go. My phone sucks and the only choices I have in other phones if Amp'd would actually let me change to another one, is another Jet even though the name is different but the only difference is it's white instead of black, and a RAZR, which I've already said I had and hated. So I'm screwed all over the place, lubeless.
This "phone" overall, sucks. Screw Kyocera for putting out such an atrocity, and screw Amp'd for using it. I've never paid this much for a phone service and got so little. I only went with Amp'd because I thought they might be a step above everyone else that sucks. My mistake.
Do NOT get this phone. There's more with it to complain about, but I think you get the point. 1 is abysmal? "A product in this range should never have been produced. This product has no redeeming qualities and worse, may actually harm you or your productivity."
Yeah, that's about right.

Kyocera Jet sucks!!!
Amp'd Live update doesn't work. Now, it says "memory is full...delete files". That's total bull. I only have few files in the damn phone, plus I have 1gig mini SD.
Media Gallery sucks. It keep freezing every time I want to delete a picture. Media Player sucks big time. You can play a song but beware you cannot skip a song or else it will not play the next or any other. You have to power down and continue.
Picture and video quality sucks. In a brightly lit room, you still get a fuzzy image. Now, I cannot take a picture with my phone.
No bluetooth. BOO!!! Actually, I knew it didn't come with it. But still, no bluetooth.
The interface between the phone and the PC is awkward and slow and it SUCKS. Support drivers doesn't work. I pretty much gave up on it.
That's just the phone.
Customer service sucks. Amp'd Mobile should hire more people (smart technical people) to staff their lines. Their online chat sucks. I waited 4+ hours only to give up and close my browser.
These are just some of the problem that plagues me. I am sure there are others with similar and new found problem from this piece of crap.

It freezes up every time I go to the Media Gallery. Media Player sucks because once you play a song, you can't skip it or else it won't play the next. Picture and video quality sucks. Now, the ******* phone won't take a picture.
No bluetooth.
