"Dont buy it, You will just return it!"
Pros: Cool Design, Virgin Mobile (Prepaid), Music player that plays on headphones/speakerphone/norma l talk speaker, camer with flash, comes with TransFlash Card and USB Connector
Cons: Not that thin, has intrusive antenna, music player has just OK sound quality, you have to pay $5 a month for aim and pay per message, camera is on back, hooks up to windows xp only, small TF card...
Summary: I have had at least 7 cell phones this year, and I have to say that besides the Sidekick II, this is the worst phone I've had yet... I would tell you not to buy it, you will probebly end up returning it.
Pros:
-Cool Black Color
-Prepaid
-Music Player (mp3)
-Comes with TransFlash Card for Music
-Allows you to transfer videos from phone to PC
-Comes with a USB connector to link Phone to Windows XP PC
-Camera with flash
-You can listen to music on included headphones/headset or speakerphone speaker or normal phone call speaker (Press speaker phone button once to turn speakerphone speaker off once in music player)
Cons:
-Shows every fingerprint
-Camera is on back so it is hard to take a picture of your self (even though it has a tiny mirror built in)
-Music player only plays mp3 files
-Just OK Music Player sound quality
-Virgin Mobile advertises that you can use AIM and only pay for the text messaging fees... They lie! you have to pay like 5 bucks a month just ot have the AIM aplication
-Can only link to Windows XP PC.
-No sync software, just a music and video folder
-Provide transflash card is only 32 mb!
***AND MOST OF ALL***
-Since power button is on outside and you don't have to hold it down to turn it on (power button is end key) it will ALWAYS turn it self on when you have it in your pocket.
Overall I would say it has a cool look and concept but most of the features dont work well and it is sort of fat (not a slim phone)... I had it in my pocket one day and it turned it self on and called 3 people!!!

I suppose you are right, some of the features can be a pain, but did you try just locking the phone? I haven't found any problems with that.

some ppl are jus petty as ever
Oh my goodness how "petty" can u b about this phone??? all your CONS are out of the question! first off:
** its shows finger prints? its a black phone, and your hands shouldnt b dirty in the first place
** who cares if you cant take a pic of youself? use a mirror!
** of course the music player playes MP3 files! its a MP3 PLAYER!
** does it matter if the music is GREAT? its better than having bad reception
** who cares if you have to pay 5 extra bucks? some phones dont have aim at all
get on the computer! and go on aim! -
A little rebuttal to your review -
"Can only link to Windows XP PC" is simply not true. The documentation says Windows 2000/XP, and I've found that to be true. Is that a big range of operating systems? Definitely not, but the phone does exactly what it says in this regard.
"No sync software" - I don't understand why this is an issue. You plug in the phone and it's just another folder for your PC. That's exactly how I like it, it couldn't be simpler.
"Since power button is on outside and you don't have to hold it down to turn it on (power button is end key) it will ALWAYS turn it self on" - well, that's probably why they included the Keyguard option under Settings. Keyguard automatically activates when you close the phone, deactivates when you open it, and is relatively easy to intentionally turn off (so you can have the phone closed and still get to the camera and music player). I've been keeping my phone in my pocket for days, and haven't once had an accidental call or had the Keyguard get disabled.
