"DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE PLEASSE!" on by SammyBooBoo

    Pros: small and cute, texting

Cons: bulky, service, small screens, SQUEAKS WHEN YOU OPEN AND CLOSE IT!

Summary: I bought this phone around September 07.
Since then i've gone through two of these phones.
I'm a sophomore in HS and a mad texter.
So I was looking for a decent keyboard phone that was on the cheap side.
I fell in love with this phone when I saw it on the Virgin Mobile website, and my boyfriend offered to buy it for me (Isn't he sweet)
    ANYWAYS
On my first switchback(or strobe)the front screen started flipping out for no reason, I hadn't dropped it or givin it water damage.
Luckily Virgin Mobile was nice enough to replace it.
Sadly i'm still stuck with the same phone.
and this time the phone is acting up even worse.
It won't let me go on the internet, buy ringtones, receive or send picture messages.
I am outraged at Virgin Mobile for sending me this POS.
I'm going to call virgin mobile sometime soon, I've already complained about my problems before, but they just told me to take out the battery 500 TIMES and keep giving me the same advice even when I tell them i've already done that.
I'm just afraid to call again because I bet they're sick of me.
But it's not my fault they're selling POS phones.

I don't recommend this phone to anyone.
    You cannot rely on it.
    It freezes up at times,
theres a delay to the front screen when you close it,
and i'm just waiting for the day the front screens starts flipping out like my other one.

    But I must admit,
It is a really cute phone.
and I do love it at times when its not acting up.
I guess i've grown attached to it.
    But its still a POS.

OH AND THE WORSTE PART IS AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS OR LESS OF USE, IT STARTS TO SQUEAK WHEN YOU OPEN AND CLOSE IT!

    SOOOO ANNOYING!

I hope you found this useful.

"Not worth the money" on by DMC94

Pros: Qwerty keyboard, camera w/ flash, pretty good battery life

Cons: Very thick and bulky, very small external display, keys on outside and inside are way too small, Virgin Mobile

Summary: I got his phone for my birthday and liked it until I felt like my pants were going to fall down when I put it in my pocket. It is extremely thick and heavy and the keys are so small that I often type a letter that I didn't want to. The camera is'nt that bad but is'nt great. Virgin Mobile is not a good service with bad quality ringtones costing $2.00 each and games costing $4.00-$5.00. If you want a basic youth-friendly messaging phone, get the Wild Card.

"seriously - POS." on by wackawacka.

Pros: two screens and sets of keys.

    Cons: everything else.

Summary: i got this phone about a year ago. i liked it at first, but as time passed my satisfaction continually declined. the whole set up on the front is extrememly small. it is easy to push the wrong buttons. you can't see the time or date if your background is a darker color. the pictures it takes suck, and they take up a ton of space. it has bluetooth, but you can only use it for the bluetooth earpiece; you can't transfer files like most phones with bluetooth. the mirror on the back peels off. the buttons mess up easily. it doesn't stay charged. it is very quiet.

so yeah, this phone was definitely not worth it.

"this is an eye-catching phone with its funky youth design but lacks..." on by kit_cat

Pros: full QWERTY keyboard, email, cute design(if your 11), and good okay sound quality

Cons: slow, locks up if you are on it too long, bad batterie life, bulky, and customer serives SUCKS!

Summary: This phone is cute for a little boy or girl who is about 10 to 11 who wants to text a lot and not have to worry about breaking it because it is so bulky. But, if you want a phone you can whip out and send a quick text, look else where. The phone idea wasn't bad until i flushed 100 dollars down the drain for my birthday to get this peice of crud. It's slow, takes mediocre pictures, has eh sound quality, and most important, the games and songs are outrageously expensive. One game costs 6 dollars. And it was a demo. A song can cost from a measly 1 dollar to 3 dollars. Plus! When you purchase a song it can be up to 3 dollars as well! It isn't even the whole song. And wait it gets better. It's only a tune! Not even the freaking real song! How lame! Then when ever you try to access Virgin XL, to surf the web and have fun, if you take a day pass for 1 dollar but exceed the 5gb of internet use, it kicks you off without even telling you! I spent about 3 dollars before figuring out and reading between the lines.
Anyway enough with the cons...this is a decent phone for like i said 10-11 year old kids who wanna have fun,but one more thing, parents look on your child's switch_back, go to VXL,go to wallpapers, and you can clearly see pictures of women sexually exploited that i was offended by. i cannot believe that people would have those pictures there! SO back to what i was saying. It's cute and very bulky but it emails at 10 cents per email from yahoo, has AIM, has a built in(weak) flashlight, and a bumch of cute little things.
In my overall opinion, this phone was a waste of 90-100 dollars, but if your buying it for a child who's a little clumsy and texts or you know will text a lot, then go ahead. Just beware of the profanity. Final comment is don't expect Virgin Mobile to answer any of your question right away about Sugar Mama or messaging plans.
