"it's fine... but has its downfalls"3.0 starson by jfrost12
Pros: -Appearance. looked more up-to-date than virgin's other phones
-Display options. i chose a black theme that made it look a lot more slick
-Easy to find contacts, several different ways
Cons: could not fit in this box. see summary for cons
-SLOW. when i try to go to my inbox, it takes an average of 2-3 seconds to respond
-Terrible sound quality, quickly deteriorated after first month of use
-Small, uncomfortable keys. The qwerty pad is very cramped and the texture of the keys is unpleasant. if your finger slips while typing it makes that awful nail-scratching sound
-Tiny dialing pad
-3.3 mm headphone jack, not standard. who has 3.3 mm headphones?
-Charger quality. my chargers kept breaking. ive had the phone about a year and ive been through 4 chargers
-Battery life (VERY BAD)
-Camera resolution is not bad, but the screen quality is crap
All in all, this phone was okay but just okay. I've learned not to expect too much from virgin's phones, and this one was nice at first but the quality was disappointing. It's more attractive than their other phones, so if you just want something that looks nice but isnt good quality, this phone will do.
I'm giving it up now because of these reasons:
1. Sound quality is pathetic. i cant understand anyone unless i put them on speaker
2. My battery doesnt make it through the day on normal use. Battery life is about 25 minutes of call, and i mostly text anyway. The battery will last about 18 hours.
4. Chargers always break
Like i said, if you dont mind too much about the quality of the phone, it does what a phone needs to do. If you want something nicer, id recommend trying one of virgin's new phones like the LG touch or blackberry
