The Bottom Line Though the LG L1200's camera and messaging options are admirable, the absence of some key features won't please cell phone fanatics. The LG LX290 is a slider handset with a great design, simple features, and excellent call quality. The LG CU400 is a speedy and attractive cell phone with access to high-speed 3G content such as Cingular Video plus access to cool mobile applications like XM Radio Mobile and MySpace Mobile. While we liked its push-to-talk features and its quad-band capabilities, we were ultimately disappointed with the poor quality of its VGA camera and the lack of a dedicated audio player. The attractive, high-performing LG LX550 is a solid addition to Sprint's EV-DO lineup. LG's LX150 for Sprint fits the bill as a quality basic cell phone.
