"VERY nice phone, especially for the price"
Pros: good reception, sturdy hinge on flip top, attractive, speaker/mic work well/clear, driving mode reliable w/o training, buttons have good 'feel', has jack for external antenna connection
Cons: side button for speaker-mode activation protrudes too far and poorly located making it easy to inadvertantly press it
Summary: Only had the phone for a few weeks, but I am very impressed, especially for the price ($59.99 with contract activation, after $30 rebate).
I also like the fact that it does NOT have a camera (personal preference).
The backlight will dim after a selectable full-bright period, conserving battery yet still readable.
Has 'SpeedTalk' or 'PTT' walkie-talkie button, although I do not subscribe to that particular service with my provider.
Has excellent reception. Also has jack for external antenna (useful when driving) but the reception has been so good, I haven't actually bought the accessory to connect to an antenna.
Buttons have a good feel (detente) to them when clicked and are adequately spaced to be able to 'feel' your way around the keypad without looking.
I have personally used up its advertised 3+ hour talk time and it lived up to its claim.
I also like the sturdy hinge for the flip top (many phones have flimsy hinges).
Driving mode is very convenient and very reliable and very easy to activate. This is my first experience with a phone with this feature.
Has quite a few 'quick press' convenience buttons, more than my last phone did.
Overall the phone is very stylish and attractive.
My only complaint so far is that the side-button for speaker-mode activation protrudes too far from the case and given its location (too high up the right side) it is VERY easy to accidently press it and suddenly find yourself and your conversation being played over the speaker! This does annoy me, I guess I just need to get used being careful how I hold it....
This phone is not bluetooth enabled, but this is not a big deal to me.
Overall, I really like the phone, I am happy with my choice, would highly recommend it especially for the price.
Everyone I've shown it to has seemed to like it.
As for my demographic, I am a 41 year old male, married with kids in high school (who all have cell phones!). I am tech-savvy but not a gadget freak, so take all this for what its worth!
