The Bottom Line The LG C1500 is an affordable basic phone with decent call quality and a compact form factor that will please those who just want a phone that works. The LG CU400 is a speedy and attractive cell phone with access to high-speed 3G content such as Cingular Video plus access to cool mobile applications like XM Radio Mobile and MySpace Mobile. While we liked its push-to-talk features and its quad-band capabilities, we were ultimately disappointed with the poor quality of its VGA camera and the lack of a dedicated audio player. Despite its uneven battery life, the LG C2000 offers good value for basic phone functions. The LG CG225 is neither terrible nor remarkable, but better midrange handsets are in Cingular's lineup. The Samsung SGH-A237 offers a bit of style, but ultimately there's not much to distinguish it from the cell phone crowd.
