"Great signal strength!"
Pros: Great signal, Push-to-Talk, Bluetooth
Cons: None as yet
Summary: I've tried 4 other phones (Samsung e105, Nokia 6010, Nokia 2100, Motorola v188, all with a 3rd party "battery booster" and 3rd party longer antenna), none of which could get a signal inside my home (SF Peninsula).
A friend living near Yosemite suggested an LG phone with Tri or Quad mode (Note: T-Mobile no longer carries LGs). Success! I now get at least 3 bars anywhere in my home as well as the stairwell and garage.
If you're having reception issues, try an LG.

Can anyone tell me if you can dial a local number on this phone without prefacing the number with the area code? Seems that I have to enter an area code even if I am calling within the same town. I have never seen that before, and I didn't have to do this with my last cell phone when within the same locality. I get a message that the area code must be dialed before the number even if calling my home. If this is the case, then my 2 LG CG300s are going back to Cingular. Someone please verify if this is so. reply to HarrisonSmith@worldnet.att.net HELP!
