"I love my Cherry Chocolate!"
Pros: Very "sweet" design, easy to learn features, nice sound!
Cons: Touchpad a bit slow to respond, Voice activated calling dials automatically.
Summary: Let's get the so-called "bad" out there first ... voice activated calling dials automatically, whether it understood the correct contact name you wanted or not. Better be fast with that "end" call button!
Second, I must be a woman with large or maybe just clumsy, fingers 'cause trying to tap those "touch sensitive" buttons seems a chore sometimes. But mostly they work fine, and LOOK really cool to boot! I don't have a problem with them. But maybe next time LG should just make them like the number keypad, which works awesome well, by the way.
OK, so honestly?... This phone is SMOKIN'! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
It's sleek and small, hefty and sturdy, and beautiful! I love the finish, which does not seem to scratch easily (at least not after a month). I definitely polish it before letting anyone take a look, since oils and fingerprint smudges are rampant at all times. But truthfully not so bothersome to me as time goes on though. I would rather have the easy to wipe fingerprints, than some big, ugly clumsy "case" covering my pretty little phone.
Was able to transfer my contacts from my old phone for FREE using Verizon's online Backup Assistant. I can use it for free, but chose just to transfer them this once and not "backup" daily. Nice freebie though.
Got myself a microSD card (with adapter) to use in my card reader for putting music on my phone. Works like a charm. Used Windows Media Player (11) for transferring and/or converting some of the songs, but also tried just drag and drop to the card's "music" folder. All of them work great. Music sounds really good too. Makes the battery run down quick if not in "music only mode though.
Seems to not have a long battery life in general. Make take to turning the phone off rather than leaving it on at all times, like I currently do. On the plus side, it charges up really fast (much better than my old phone).
I will definitely be looking forward to another version of this phone or another LG phone in two years when I upgrade again.
