"Addictive Chocolate!" on by HLinR
Pros: Stylish, fun, great speaker, great personalization options (different menus), and great camera.
Cons: Danger of scratching the screen because there is no flip, medium battery life
Summary: I absolutely love this phone.
I was so afraid to get it after reading how "confusing" or "hard" it would be to use it.
I exchanged my krzr in for the green chocolate and I am so thrilled that I did.
The camera is fantastic, especially compared to the krzr.
I love the sliding component, it's so much fun!
The whole touch sensitive thing is pretty cool. I mean yeah, maybe once or twice you hit the wrong button by accident, but it's a really cool feature and you get used to it really quickly.
There IS a speaker phone, which scared me at first because I read that there wasn't one. You have to push the camera button during a call.
The battery life is I would say average, it all depends with what you do with it.
It's pretty durable, I spilled a bit of water on it and dried it quickly and it was fine. I also dropped it and nothing happend to it. (maybe I'm lucky?)
Overall, if your into a stylish things that do work perfectly well, the chocolate is for you!

"Coolest phone that I have ever returned..." on by ledesmkv
Pros: Coolness factor is off the charts...
Cons: The things that make it cool are the same things that make it suck...
Summary: After killing my beloved VX8100 in the washer, I decided to get this very cool looking green phone.
The phone itself does nothing groundbreaking, it does the basic stuff that most phones do. I has speakerphone, Bluetooth, and can play music via microSD. It's marketed to be more like an mp3 player, but I never tested that feature out... I like to use my phone as a phone. Overall very good perfomance.
The trick thing about the Chocolate is the touchpad, which is both it's strength and it's downfall. The touchpad basically takes up the area below the screen and incorparates the "Send", "Clear", "OK" and directional buttons. It is the source of this phone's cool factor, but I found that the touchpad becomes a pain once the novelty wears out.
Because your face can "press the buttons", this places the "End" key on the side of the phone... which can take some getting used to. In addition, the touchpad deactivates during a call, so if you want to get to your call waiting, you have to press a side key to activate the touchpad and then press the send key. Pressing the number pad while in the middle of the call activates the touchpad, so if you have to press any numbers during a call (for an automated menu for example), when you put the phone back to your face, it starts pressing buttons on the touchpad.
If you can sacrifice functionality for coolness on a daily basis, then this phone is definitely for you. But as a man in his 30s, maybe I'm just too practical for this phone. I traded it in for an LG VX8300 and could not be happier. -
