"Sleek and easy to use"
Pros: Expandable memory, clear photos, good call quality, nice interface
Cons: Voice commands not always understood, scratches easily, Mac "ghost" files
Summary: Three weeks ago I upgraded from the MotoE815 to the VX8550. At first I was apprehensive, but I'm very happy with my choice! One of the things I love most is bluetooth file transfer. It makes it so easy to take photos off the phone! It's also nice having the option to use the scroll wheel as a click wheel, it makes navigating the menus pretty easy. Another nice feature is having the ability to chose between three different menu interfaces.
Since I'm a Mac user, when I put music on my phone I get duplicate "ghost" files. The only remedy I've found for this is putting the SD card into a PC and then deleting them.
My moto bluetooth earpiece works well with the Chocolate. The voice commands are not always understood though, even when talking clearly and distinctly. The E815 was better in this area.
Since the phone is a very shiny plastic, it is prone to scratches. I keep it in a phone case while traveling though, so I've managed to keep the front scratch-free so far.
