"non-existent sync, crippled by verizon"
Pros: works for voice. sort of.
Cons: many. see below.
Summary: cons:
- must turn on speakerphone for every call. cumbersome to do when in a call.
- touch buttons too sensitive, even when set to low.
- the circular control interface is goofy and backward (have to go down to move up)
- not the best reception
- calendar sync only worked with old firmware and BitPim. Verizon upgraded the firmware and all sync stopped. Have found no other app to work.
- the Verizon music sync app is too complex and a waste of time, therefore as a music player it's far from useable.
- Verizon has crippled the functionality of this phone.
Even though Verizon signals tend to be strong, the phone is rendered virtually useless by Verizon's crippling of features. The problems are really verizon-related, therefore stay away from Verizon.
However, the lack of the phone's usability with standard sync apps makes it a deal-breaker. Look elsewhere, especially for a phone with software provided by the manufacturer.
