LG Cosmos Touch (Verizon Wireless)

Pros: Showed me what kind of company Verizon really is to their customers.

Cons: Drops calls
Short battery life
Poor sound quality of calls
Difficult to text/ touch screen horrible

Summary: I purchased this phone and my husband got the Octane. Oh how I wish I did the same! My previous verizon phone dropped calls constantly and I was so excited to not have to deal with that and repeat myself all the time. The cosmos worked for a few days, then it was downhill from there. I attempted to return the phone because it kept dropping calls and breaking up during calls ( I was 8 months pregnant and wanted a reliable phone). Unfortunately, I was past the 2 weeks window as I spent some time in the hospital in the days following the purchase and didn't use the phone. I attempted to return the phone to the store, they directed me to call customer service. After speaking with 4 different people to no avail, I wrote a letter to Verizon. They offered me a replacement. I really didn't want another cosmos, but what choice did I have? I received a "certified preowned". So basically they are sending me a used phone in place of a new phone and they will most likely send my crappy phone to someone else who has returned their crappy phone?! What?! So, last night I set up "new" (aka-another dissatisfied customer's crappy phone) and it dropped the second call I made. It is going back! BTW- I have refused to pay "restocking fee" in the past and it was waived. Do not buy this phone under any desperation.
