"Great Phone !"
Pros: Reception, easy to use, fast functions
Cons: Start up sound
Summary: I read alot of reviews on all the different Cingular phones. After researching them I kept coming back to the LG CU400 as my main choice. I have now owned the LG CU400 phone for almost three months. In fact I bought the same phone for my daughter.
I wanted to wait a few months before rating it to give my own fair evaluation. I have previuosly owned the Motorola V600, V551 and the LGC2000. It puts all these phones to shame. I really like the sleek black style of this phone. It seems sturdy enough for me. The front screen not being colored really doesn't bother me. I like being able to see the date, time, caller ID and other functions without opening it. The inside colored screen is really nice and easy to see.
I find it really easy to use as far as the functions. The menu pretty much leads you through everything. Being older, the keys are really easy to see and easy to use with big hands. The camera is OK, not great. But I didn't buy a cell phone for camera use. The battery life is good. With the bluetooth on it is does cut battery life. This happens to all cell phones.
The reception I have found is exceptional.! I have heard complaints but I find alot of times this related to Cingulars lack of GSM sights. This phone meets my needs. I highly recomment it !
