LG Dare (Verizon Wireless)

Pros: Nice design, intuitive call handling, amazing camera/video function, stereo bluetooth, voice command dialing, great speaker phone, screen resolution, Rhapsody subscription support.

Cons: Off-center touch interface, HTML Browser, poor online experience.

Summary: I've had my DARE for a week now and I am BLOWN AWAY at the quality and power of this phone. Everyone I work with has an iPhone (so I am VERY aware of the pros and cons of that one) and I almost made the switch...thankfully, I didn't.

First and foremost, this is a great phone. Call quality is great and the speaker phone feature is easily activated.

As a music player, this phone KILLS the iPhone. Let's start with STEREO BLUETOOTH. I also love that I can use my RHAPSODY TO GO service and sync my songs and playlists from my subscription service. (For those of you who don't know, that means I pay a monthly fee and have access to unlimited music on my computer, phone, and any other computer I am using).

The phone is feature packed and, as reviewed, the camera is AMAZING. Video and Picture quality is awesome. I also have full non-destructive imaging editing capability that allows me to crop, rotate and color correct right on the phone.

The phone falls a few steps online. The browser is crap and the off-center touch interface just complicates the situation. I didn't buy the phone for internet use, so I'm not too upset, but I know that there are those out there who love that feature. For those, I would not recommend this phone,

For the rest of us, who want a great PHONE with an amazing music player and great camera, ALL IN ONE, the DARE is the best you can get. There is too much missing from the iPhone for me to switch, and the DARE delivers!
