"Good Try, but LG dropped the ball..."
2.0 starson by kawwikidPros: Clear screen, bright colors, flip open key board, easy access to short cuts..
Cons: Touch screen "wigs" out and stops working, screen really not visible in bright light, slow to open apps, slow to get on line and open pages, limited on line use.
Summary: I got the LG Envy Touch, to replace my 8330 Black Berry. I found the i did not need all the extras that a smart phone had to offer, and the LG seemed like it would do most of what I wanted. I got my LG the day after they came out. Seemed to be a good phone, but by the end of the first week, the touch screen, just stopped working. It could not even be re-cal, it just stopped. So Verison gave me another LG Touch. This one lasted about 3 weeks, and same issue. The store clerk then tells me that there was an LG software update and that she would give me another phone, with the new software. (version 4.0 I think) This phone works for about 4 weeks, then it to locks up, and no touch screen action. Again Verison tells me that theres yet another update, so they update the phone and it works for about 2 weeks. Now its locked up, no touch action, nothing will load on it. So Verison tells me theres another update, they do it, and the phone goes black, nothing, na-da, dead. So, after this, Verison was nice enough to give me the new Samsung Rouge. After 2 weeks of heavy use, this phone is working like top. Its fast, and the touch screen works so much better than the LG..

Looks like your parents dropped the ball. Verizon is spelled with a Z not an S. You don't even know the name of your phone carrier.

Look this is NOT a crackberry/windows media phone replacement , its a smart dumb phone geared toward heavy texting, music listening and porn/you tube video watching, get extended life battery and everything is groooooooooovvvvviiiiiiieeeeee!
