  • "It was okay but deffidently not a reliable phone"
    on by laguna222

    Pros nice design, qwerty keyboard

Cons no camera, bad battery, no speakerphone

Summary This was the first phone i had ever had so i really had nothing to compare it to at the time but now looking back at it, it is deffidently a bad phone. The battery was horrible, i mean HORRIBLE. i actually had to send the phone away and demand for a new phone because it was getting to the point where i would be running out of full battery in 3 hours even if i wasn't doing anything on the phone. the keypad buttons are hard to press because they're small and a weird shape. the aim didn't work, there's no speakerphone or camera. I just ordered the LG F9200 which is like this phone except with a camera and everything else this phone lacked. im really reallly hoping this phone doesn't have as bad as battery because it's impossible to use if it is. this phone looks cool but believe me there are many other phones out there that are more reliable.

  • "Very good messaging phone"
    on by craigsands

Pros Easy texting, access to Yahoo.

Cons No apostrophy, keyboard does not work with all actions

Summary I have been enjoying this phone for over a year. It is a nice small phone with a full qwerty keyboard. The keyboard is large enough to allow me to write full text messages rapidly. Two weaknesses on the keyboard. No apostrophy to help show contractions or possesives. The keyboard does not work for entering contact information or for notes.
The phone is OK. The sound is decent, and people seem to be able to understand me, though they can tell I am using a cell phone. The highest volume is a bit low. I sometimes miss calls because I can't hear the ringer. I do recommend the phone for people who text a lot, and who prefer a small phone without a lot of extras.

  • "pretty cool phone but there is better"
    on by megrockstar

Pros cool, sleek, new slifde up feature

Cons hards to hear, low quality, not great speakerphone

Summary I like to talk on speakerphone 99% of the time. I find that this phone has a low quality speakerphone, noone can ever hear me. One other annoying thing is that when it says 'missed call' you can't immediately see the number of the call that was missed. It also doesnt say" New Vmail" you have to look for the icon that isnt always there. I am not sure but mine gets great or crap signals too.

  • "great for texting, bad for everything else."
    on by skatewingit

Pros the QWERTY key board is nice. it about ends there.

Cons horrid battery life, you can not input almost anything but texts and IM's with the key board. the calender holds maybe 7 events. the keys on the front are really damn small. my clear key doesnt work.

Summary there is alot the manufacturer did not think about when making this phone, i would gladly go back to my old Nokia anyday then stick with this. i mean its great for texting fast, but it really ends there. i even had to send in to get a new one cause a key broke, my battery barley lasts a day, and i really dont use it too much, and i wanted a good schedual planner with the phone, but this just doesnt have it, at all!

  • "Good but not great!"

Pros Bright screen, cool texting/ I.M. capabilities, fast connection to the media net!

Cons You can only use the keyboard for texting and I.M.

Summary Over all I like the phone. I just would like it more if I could use the keyboard for more of the phones features. I would also like it if the phone's keypad wasn't so slammed together. All in all if the newer version of this phone(LG F9200)fixes these problems it will get my seal of approval and a ten rating.
