"Really, really good, but not quite perfect"
Pros: Text messaging almost perfect
Cons: Java's not perfect
Summary: There's a lot to like about this phone. I work at a place that does not allow cameras of any sort at the work site (don't ask). As a result, I have to look carefully. A friend has had one of those Nokia 6800s which I have admired for quite some time. I began my hunt for one of those and found the LG F9100. I have not been disappointed.
The only issues that I've had appear to be Java-related (some games don't work) and a few interface burps: Sometimes my bookmarks present intriguing names, and to get to some common punctuation marks -- like an apostrophe -- I can't figure out how to get there without closing the phone and hitting the symbol key. Other than those minor issues (and I do mean minor), I am pleased as can be.
And all my nerd pals go 'oooooh' when they see it in action! How can you beat that?
