The Bottom Line Though the speakerphone didn't quite measure up, the Samsung SGH-A117 is a solid choice for a prepaid AT&T Go phone. LG's sleek, flyweight C1300 is great for a starter cell phone, but its quirky design and subpar battery life won't please everyone. The LG CG225 is neither terrible nor remarkable, but better midrange handsets are in Cingular's lineup. The Motorola C168i is a basic functional phone, but it's almost a little too simple.
