"crappy, very poor quality phone"
Pros: you can talk to people most of the time, good basic features, such as calculator, calendar, phonebook, etc., and durable.
Cons: bad connection, small battery life, bugs in voice mail, dropped calls, muggy clarity, and some more im sure....
Summary: I've had this phone for 2 years and boy am i glad to have a Samsung this time around. I can truly say I will never buy LG again, ever, in any form, cellphone, refrigirator, or whatever. No more LG for me. After weeks of getting the phone i had problems and after about 9 months, i could no longer tell if i had messages: it would always tell me i had 2, even if i had none, or 19!( that actually happened once, i had 19 messages and i thought i only had 2). also at around that time, my calls started to get dropped and im sure its not the service becuase i compared to another cingular phone a family member has(a motorola) and it had 4 bars when mine had 1 (which shortly went to none a few seconds later). I also had the problem of first having full service (i was standing in one place during all of these instances). I would start a call and talk and then it would drop the call, seconds later only to get all 5 bars back up again. And of course the battery slowly got worse and worse, but that can be expected. I don't recall other problems that i had since they were so long ago and minute compared to the constant frustration with this phone within the last year. The customer service people always just told me to turn the phone off and on 3 times, no matter what the problem and no matter how recuring it was. A few other negative points would be the lack of choices for wallpaper, but at least 2 good ringtones, if thats a concert for you. One good thing is that its durable; my husband dropped his (same make model, but different phone) many times, but still worked fine. For me, I just wanted to have a decent conversation or call the doctor without having to yell, WHAT? or having the call droped. Once again I say, no more LG ever for me!
