"The truth behind the L1400"
Pros: Compact, GREAT camera, easy to use
Cons: No video recorder
Summary: I must say, I have read EVERY review of this phone on cNet and every review for countless other phones for cingular. The reviews here say many common bad things about this phone (low ringer volume, bad camera, scrolling cingular text, bad reception, etc.) I ordered the phone VERY reluctantly from Cingular (it is my first phone). It has been about 24 hours since i got it and not ONE, I repeat NOT ONE of those problems exists. The ringer volume is crystal clear and loud, the camera isnt laggy at all, unlike the z500a, oh and that scrolling cingular text? dosent exist. People have claimed you cannot photo ID individual people, but rather groups of people. FALSE! You can ID any single person in your phone book! I cannot stress enough how awesome this phone is, either Cingular fixed the faults this phone used to have, or they never existed in the first place. This phone is amazing and if you are considering it at all, buy it. Reviews can be very misleading.

You must be a lucky one to receive this phone and have not ONE of the problems we all complained about. You just wait until you start to use this regularly. You can expect a lot of dropped calls and you need to get used to saying "What was that?" Maybe you should take a look at the cameras on other phones because this phone has one of the worst cameras I have ever seen. I maybe all wrong. You could have magical LG L1400 that decided to work right.
