Pros Half the bulk in my pocket with little to no sacrifice on screen and keyboard size. Love the two sided screen for picture taking. Very user friendly. All the features I want in a smart phone. Looks good.
Cons The highest volume for both the ring tone and earpiece is not very loud at all. Hard to hear outside with mild background noise. Tend not to hear ring while in another room.
Summary I have the black version as opposed to the red. I love having a button keyboard as opposed to only a touch screen. It has every feature that I would want in a smart phone for half the bulk in my pocket. Even though it is compact for carrying, when unfolded it has an pretty decently sized viewable screen and working keyboard for texting and web searching. The two sided flipping screen and rotating camera is a good feature especially for taking self pictures. It would be nicer if I could increase the volume a bit more that is allowed with the phone. Can be hard hearing with mild background noise. The black version has a sleek, stylish, and unique executive look to it. -Aesthetically impressive; good for a man to carry. Overall I am very happy with the phone. Also LOVE the GPS driving directions and google maps features!

Pros You can access email, messages, contacts, and picture slide show from the touch screen. Has a great keyboard for texting and email. Has a lot of features like my favorite YouTube! I love how the camera flips when you open and close it. Good stuff.
Cons I feel the buttons are too small, easy to make a mistake. It gets fingerprints and oily face stuff on it easily. I should have gone for the black but red is good. I wish they had a better web browser.
Summary Great phone. I like it because it's fat. Hard to loose. And it is sturdy, still in one piece! I would recommend it to anyone, very stylish and easy to use. Has a lot of great features and you can access them from one or two touches away. I like that.

Pros Makes it easy to check emails and text messages
Cons battery life is short, can't text from touchscreen, kinda big (when phone is open)
Summary I've only had this phone for 3 weeks and so far I love it. Usually, the only purpose for me having a phone is to keep in contact with people when I?m not at home or out of town. But since I?m spending more and more time away home, my access to a computer is now limited. So I wanted buy a phone would also give me the computer access that I was now lacking but I didn?t want a Smart Phone/ Blackberry ( mostly because it wasn?t in my budget lol). So I started looking into the alternatives, which lead me to the Elite. Also a Flash for the camera should have been added to this phone. I think lg should try to incorporate this feature in future phones. I think that feature only would up or balance out the value of any phone.
The touch screen feature is nice. I like that fact that I can check my e-mails, voice mails, text messages and make calls (through my Contact and Speed dial list) without opening the phone. If only there was a way to send emails and texts from the screen, it would make the phone 10 times better!! It also makes it easy to browse the web too. It may lag at times but connection is still good. The picture quality is good, the video is decent could be better (Then again this is a phone so not much to be expected). And it helps me stay connected with people who are on my social sites too. It also let you download and view certain documents too, like Microsoft Excel. The sound quality is really good too. I?ve viewed a few videos from YouTube; the sound was very clear and very loud. Only thing is the battery life is kinda short. Overall it?s a pretty decent phone.
** This phone only covers all the basics, so if you looking for something more advanced then a Smartphone is probably a better option (if it's in your budget)**

"Love it!!!!!"on by mplittlewife
Pros Slim, large easy to read screen, easy to use
Cons none that I can think of yet
Summary Would recommend this phone to people of ALL ages
Pros touch screen, size of screen, flip phone, qwerty keyboard, features (music, facebook, sprint navigation etc.)
Cons No flash!!! I really wish phone had a flash. Wish you could do more with the touch screen and should come in more colors then black and red. Also battery life, not bad, not great.
Summary I highly recommend this phone. It's no smartphone, but coming from someone who has owned a blackberry tour and curve, a palm pre, and a samsung instinct, it doesn't matter. It's a great phone that does what it should. Main draw back for me is the lack of a flash. I have no idea how any phone that has came out in the last two years lacks a flash??? Battery life is nowhere near as good as a Blackberry's but nowhere near as awful as the palm pre's. A tolerable medium! Also I was concerned about the red (i'm a pink girl) but it's actually a pretty red with nice floral designs. But for those that aren't into anything girlish, get it in black! You have been warned!!:) Buy this phone, it's a great phone for a great price:)
