"Useless Piece of Garbage!"
Pros: Excellent form factor, LOVE they keyboard and clamshell style
Cons: Bugs and defects render this phone useless.
Summary: I decided to leave the land of Blackberry to purchase this phone - I wasn't using my Blackberry to it's full potential, so I decided to downgrade to a dumb phone and see how it worked for me. Well, it didn't. I loved the phone at first, despite not being able to download the same (or even similar) apps that I had on my Blackberry, despite the ineffective web browser, and despite the text delays... I can live with all of that. 31 days after I purchased the phone (i.e., 1 day after my "trial period") the phone got itself stuck in reboot mode. I took it to Sprint, hoping to tell them "thanks, but no thanks - give me my Blackberry back." They told me no dice and happily handed over a shiny new Lotus, telling me that the old one was toast and, oh by the way, we can't retrieve your 200+ contacts. SORRY. My husband adopted my old Blackberry, so I figured I was stuck with this useless brick. Trying to make the best of it, I grudgingly started entering my contacts back into the new phone. It has been exactly one week since they gave me the new phone, and it's stuck in reboot mode again. The cheerful Sprint rep said "we've never seen this problem before!" Somehow I doubt that's true.
So to get down to the nitty gritty - if you are upgrading from a phone that doesn't have email or web-browsing capabilities, and you are a butt-dialer, this is a great option, as long as you don't experience the "rare" issues that I have...twice...with this phone. If you've never had apps, you won't know what you're missing out on. If you've never had a full qwerty keyboard, you'll love this one. And if you're prepared to lose all of your contacts, this is the phone for you.
If you're thinking to downgrade from a smart phone (to avoid Blackberry's surcharge), go with something else. The calendar on this phone is less than adequate (to be kind), the email functions, while robust for a dumb phone, leaves a bit to be desired if you're used to a Blackberry. Surfing the web is a joke.
Bottom line: I will beg forgiveness of the Blackberry gods if they will have me back...
