Pros: This is a great phone in many respects. Easy to message and also to organize mp3's on. Easy to use in general.

Cons: Here is the problem. There is a terrible feedback problem with this phone and you or the person you are speaking with will get an echo that is distracting and disconcerting then trying to carry on a conversation. We sent ours back for this reason.

Summary: I loved everything about this phone but the echo problem out-weighed the really good other features it has. This problem is made even worse if you are on a family plan and more than one person are using an Octanes. I found voice clarity to be sub-par as well. Buy it at your own risk. More than 50% of the people who've had it have experienced this problem. And as of the date of this review LG has not been able to fix it. They say they have patches/downloads for fixing it.....we downloaded them with no change.
