"Bluetooth? Bluetooth? It ain't got no stinkin' Bluetooth!!"
Pros: People will think it's cool...
Cons: You will end up knowing it's not.
Summary: Well, let me say right off the bat, I am not a tech professional. I am just an average slightly knowledgable consumer who wanted Bluetooth on my phone.
Let's start out with what that "Bluetooth" tag gets you on this Sprint phone. From what I can understand I can use a headset or use the phone with my laptop to connect to the internet. Using a handsfree headset is a nice feature and one of Bluetooth's big draws, so that is great. Using this phone to "dial-up" an internet connection is a handy thing to have I guess... if you are not near one of the many Wi-Fi coffee shops or business all over major metropolitan areas(hello!).
My biggest beef here is that I didn't want to transfer every freakin' name and number from my old phone to my new phone. "Real" Bluetooth would do that. Sprint has done a great job of leaving out little details like that.
The long and the short is: People will love how "cute" it is. They will love to watch you slide it open to make and receive calls. It's very small, so if you have big hands, it is like the phone Will Ferrell uses in "Zoolander."
One other thing, this is weird, but for some reason if you keep the phone in your pocket lint seems to get under the screen. I cannot figure out how to get it out of there either and my OCD tendencies are making me go crazy every time I look at it.
All in all, just know that you are getting a dumbed down version of Bluetooth in a "cute" little slider phone.

this phone does have bluetooth capabilities however, you do need to purchase the bluetooth earpiece $89.99-$99 dpends on whwer u go..this needs to be progrmmd to yor phone which takes about 2-3min or less..
Then Ure' wired for Bluetooth, for persons who are not famil w/this it can be frustrating..also you do have 30days I belv to exchange a product or return for full refund. I have used just about all the phones as I upgrade often, som worked ok, som great and others were crapola'...I must say I dont like this phone as much as others I have had but it get the job done, "I use my bluetooth because I didnt like being wired to my phone..it is small(too small) and it can get lost easily...the thing about the lint in yor pocket,,,hmmm mayb u shld just clean out yor pocket.LOL
I do understand yor point(this phone does not have a closed face totally) does not have a case like the others because its a slider..
If U did not want all of your numbers transfrd sprint techs do not have time to pick thru your list...you shld either delete wht u dnt want yorself before the transfer or delete them after the transfer. I hav found tht som companies offer diff ways of doing things and som phones r easier to manage than others..but all in all its ok..as far as the internet I personally think cells phones were meant to talk on not web-surf...its too time consuming..if its an emergency like you were trapped in a cave and your only way of communication was text messgng or sending emails..then ok..but dang! thts why we hav so many morons in accidents..they r using cell phones as a means of communication on the net while drivng..I will get down off my soapbox now..
Have a Great Day!
hope U find a phone u like... -
Good phone. Occasionally shuts off - just because. Signal not great from my house. Bluetooth is crippled. Worse Sprint didn't admit it. Wanted to synch my Palm T5. Can't. Beware of the half truths -- whatever you buy -- ask all the niggling questions. Especially about data charges and whether the phone features are 100% implemented. (Anyone know how I can get my phone's photos onto my PC for free?) Thanks!
