Pros Texting is OK if you can put up with the terrible resistive touch screen. Audio quality is OK. Battery life is good.
Cons Lock key. Crappy touch screen. Does not always show pending voice mail messages.
Summary I bought this phone to replace a Razr that had failed. I was not ready to buy a Smart Phone so I read the reviews and decided to buy this phone. I hate it! The lock key on this phone is located on the side of the phone and can easily be enabled while in your pocket. The SEND and END keys are not disabled when the phone is locked. What this means is that as you fumble for the phone in your pocket and you accidently hit the END key the call will be aborted and go to voice mail. I do this all the time! Also as items shift in your pocket and the lock button is hit, the phone will dial by itself. I am constantly "Butt Dialing" with this phone. The touch screen is pretty inaccurate even after doing the calibration screen several times. You can spend almost as much time correcting errors as you would using a 10-key key phone (hitting numbers multiple times to select a character). I do not recommend this phone, it's cheap but still not worth the price.
Pros This phone is trash a dont recommend it to anyone its touch screen is retarded
Cons Everything you try to do has like 10 steps to it, Very frustrating fun its trash people
Pros Touchscreen, menu controls, battery and talk time.
Cons None for the price.
Summary At the time of this review Amazon was still selling the phone for $80 w/ a $50 airtime credit. I have a regular service plan and the GoPhone minutes were converted to 150 rollover minutes. I am a senior electronics tech. and did extensive research on phones before purchasing. My previous phone was an LG Vu which was good. I even looked hard into iphone clones out of China. My decision to purchase this phone was price and manufacturer. LG makes great phones and no other name brand could compare to this model in the same price range. It's not the same quality as an iphone or Droid X but doesn't hold and exorbitant price tag, either. It works and feels great. The controls are easy to navigate and I've had no problems with call quality. This phone is perfect for any current AT&T customer who have used up all their insurance claims or do not want to get stuck back into another 2 year plan.
Pros Quad band, GSM and unlocked....... what else could a person want?
Cons Yeah, it does not have all the fancy JAVA apps.... but then again, it does not soak you for 120 per month either.
Summary There are multiple unlimited talk and text plans for 50 bucks or less per mo. for this phone. I switched to this after being a smart phone user for a long time..... I use this device for what it is made for....the rest, well, I use my laptop for with my home internet service. This phone packs alot of bang for the buck.
Pros Only $80 on Amazon. Lots of features, my favorites are touchscreen, stereo bluetooth, 3.5mm jack (to use w/ my bose headphones), 16GB! expandable memory, decent music player, conversational texting.
Cons Customizable front page could be much better. Touchscreen is a little slow, but that is compared to the iphone. Things that are a little annoying but i'll get used to: lock/unlock, text interface, it takes 4 clicks to get to the calculator.
Summary Overall, I am really stoked on this phone. $80 can barely buy you a nice phone on craigslist let alone brand new! I bought it as a go phone then swapped the sim out...I thought I was pulling a fast one, but then I got a text saying that they credited my account with 150 rollover minutes for buying the phone. Later i realized there was actually a sticker on the phone saying you could do this! I bought it because of all the above features for such an amazing price. I used to have an iphone but no longer want to pay for internet so this phone suits me perfectly. I am happy with my purchase.
